This position arises from an existing vacancy and includes a biweekly rotation of Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, and Monday. As an RPN, you will offer personal and nursing care, ensuring a supportive environment through teamwork and effective communication. Your leadership will provide guidance to Personal Support Workers, facilitating exceptional care for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care as per established protocols
- Ensure excellent nursing and personal care practices
- Communicate effectively with residents and families
- Supervise Personal Support Workers on your unit
- Conduct assessments for admissions and changes in status
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing in Ontario
- Experience in geriatrics or senior health beneficial
- Strong judgment skills and risk identification
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
