Support seniors overnight as a Personal Support Worker at Woods Park Community and Retirement in Barrie, providing compassionate daily care and assistance. This permanent part-time Personal Support Worker position supports the Long Term Care team at Sienna Senior Living. You will build resident relationships, understand individual living experiences, and contribute to daily health, well-being, comfort, dignity, and respect. The work includes activities of daily living, resident communication, mobility support, and prescribed medication administration after additional training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to care plans
- Encourage use of glasses, hearing aids, and sensory supports
- Ensure access to canes, walkers, call bells, and devices
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support
- Encourage participation in individual and group resident programs
