Provide resident-focused nursing care as an Evening Registered Practical Nurse at Wood Park Community and Retirement in Barrie, Ontario.
Support seniors with sound clinical judgment.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this temporary part-time position supports residents within an Ontario RPN/LPN scope of practice.
You will deliver nursing and personal care while communicating with residents, families, and staff.
Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to policy and physician orders
- Deliver excellent nursing and personal care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Oversee resident care and guide assigned staff
- Supervise Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
Requirements
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses
- Good judgment and ability to identify risk
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Successful Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
