Lead Grid Lifecycle Services technical solutions across Canada with expertise in high-voltage transmission and complex bid-to-execution delivery. This role may be based in Oakville, Ontario. As Siemens Energy’s Application Lead, you will provide senior technical leadership throughout opportunity development, bid management, project execution, and long-term customer support. You will interpret customer specifications, define solution scopes, assess risks, and guide multidisciplinary teams across FACTS, HVDC, substations, protection and control, and automation. You will also represent Canadian technical needs with global engineering experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technically sound GLS opportunities and bid strategies
- Translate proposed solutions into execution and acceptance requirements
- Resolve complex issues involving high-voltage transmission assets
- Represent technical perspectives in Canadian strategy discussions
- Mentor engineers and establish reusable technical standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or related engineering
- Significant senior experience in grid or lifecycle services
- Experience across tendering and project execution
- Ability to interpret specifications and electrical drawings
- Professional English fluency; French is an asset
- Bring technical leadership, risk assessment, and grid-asset knowledge to Siemens Energy’s Canadian lifecycle-services business.
