As a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, you will assist with prescription processing and pharmacy services according to professional standards. Your work includes customer service, third-party adjudication, prescription data entry, workflow support, and documentation. You will refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to the pharmacist while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather prescription information according to established standards
- Dispense, package, label, and process prescription medications accurately
- Adjudicate third-party billing and manage related accounts
- Enter prescription data and process refill requests
- Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists
Requirements:
- Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
- Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Effective organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
