The Cash Manager manages human, physical, and financial resources within the Cash Department. This supervisory position coordinates cashier staffing, training, performance support, cash office standards, and store objectives. It also interfaces with other departments to support consistent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cashier staff by example and reinforce CORE Values
- Interview candidates and recommend final cashier hires
- Schedule hours, days off, and vacations within guidelines
- Train employees and provide ongoing coaching and instruction
- Maintain cash office, promotions, and loss prevention standards
Requirements:
- Supervisory and labour management experience
- Retail or grocery experience with cash handling
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Financial analysis, organization, and planning abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
