This Pharmacy Manager position oversees daily Pharmacy operations, including dispensing medication, maintaining the dispensary, and providing professional services. You will manage workflow queues, will-call bins, stock levels, medication orders, controlled-substance documentation, and required reporting. The role also requires customer counselling, privacy compliance, and communication with health care professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee dispensary access, inventory, and patient confidentiality
- Review workflow queues and will-call bins daily
- Monitor expired inventory, stock levels, and wholesaler orders
- Maintain controlled-substance documentation and regulatory reporting
- File medication or privacy incident reports when required
Requirements:
- Ability to practice within legal and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of Pharmacy systems and personal computing
- Ability to formulate and execute action plans
