This full-time, regular role supports Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart prescription services. You will check prepared medications, complete corrections, reconcile controlled medications, and protect patient confidentiality. The work supports pharmacists by maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient prescription processing across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check prepared medications for accuracy, compliance, and product quality
- Complete appropriate corrections when prescription issues are identified
- Count and reconcile narcotic and controlled medications accurately
- Check products efficiently to maintain workflow and delivery schedules
- Protect patient privacy according to applicable regulations
Requirements:
- Hold good standing registration with the College of Pharmacists
- Maintain liability insurance to legally practice as an RPhT
- Bring at least one year of continuous pharmacy experience
- Demonstrate communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Complete work with minimal supervision and attention to detail
