Deliver accurate prescription support as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician with Shoppers Drug Mart, serving customers through timely pharmacy services. Keep customers at the centre of every interaction.
This position assists with prescription dispensing, pharmacy services, and Pharmacy operations. You will provide customer service, process prescription information, and support workflow according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice. The role requires provincial registration and a Pharmacy Technician diploma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather prescription information and greet customers promptly
- Accurately dispense, count, measure, package, and label prescriptions
- Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists
- Process third-party billing and prescription refill requests
- Maintain dispensary cash registers, documentation, and pharmacy data
Requirements:
- Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
- Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
- Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
