Responsibilities include prescription data entry, medication selection, billing, packaging, labeling, and customer support. Provincial registration and a Pharmacy Technician diploma are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter new prescriptions and process refill requests accurately
- Select medications according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice
- Count, measure, package, and label prescriptions efficiently
- Adjudicate online and manual third-party accounts
- Receive orders and file completed pharmacy documentation
Requirements:
- Registered with the applicable provincial licensing college
- Pharmacy Technician College diploma
- Strong attention to detail in prescription processing
- Organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
