This Nurse position supports a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store with national brand support. You will assess vaccination and health status, including travel-related needs, then provide indicated vaccines. The position also covers hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, anticoagulant therapy, and patient education. Working with the pharmacy team, you will help develop the nursing service offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take blood samples from patients
- Assess vaccination and health status
- Provide indicated influenza, COVID, and travel vaccines
- Offer hypertension, diabetes, and anticoagulant services
- Welcome patients professionally and compassionately
Requirements:
- Membership in the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec
- DCS or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Familiarity with the PIQ
- Knowledge of travel health
