Drive B2B growth for Shearer's Foods by developing strategic retail partnerships and applying consultative selling across Ontario and Southern/Central Canada.
As a Key Account Manager, you will support the Canadian and International business unit. The position focuses on expanding existing accounts, pursuing manufacturing partnerships, and presenting private label capabilities. You will guide retailers and brand owners from product concept and formulation through commercial production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customer partnerships around strategic category growth opportunities
- Analyze portfolios for formulation, packaging, and cost-efficiency opportunities
- Drive volume, margin, pricing, deductions, and compliance performance
- Coordinate priorities with Commercialization, R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Procurement
- Lead RFPs and product projects through launch
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Five-plus years of B2B consumer food manufacturing sales
- Canadian grocery and retail landscape knowledge
- Sales forecasting, deductions, project management, and collaboration experience
- Consultative, creative, partnership-minded sales approach
