Shared Health seeks a Registered Nurse for OR Child Health under the O.R. Manager, Health Services. The position provides continuity throughout perioperative care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. It also supports professional development, research, and quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote compliance with perioperative nursing policies and procedures
- Provide continuity of care throughout the perioperative period
- Assess patients undergoing surgical intervention
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions
- Participate in education, research, and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Current related perioperative experience or accredited Operating Room Nursing training
- Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Health Care Provider level CPR training
- Effective communication and clinical application skills
