We are seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team ahead of our October 2026 opening. You will perform general maintenance, scheduled preventive tasks, and respond to repair requests, ensuring resident safety and comfort. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant difference in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests for repairs
- Assemble, set up, and deliver furniture and equipment
- Repair structures and patch damaged areas as needed
- Assist with inspections in coordination with the management team
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- 1-2 years of experience in construction or maintenance
- Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety
- Certification in Carpentry or related trades is an asset
- Clear Criminal Record Check required
