The Director of Training leads the training team and owns strategy, revenue, margin, delivery quality, and growth. This Calgary-based role oversees ICS training, customized programs, digital delivery, instructors, and client exercises. It supports energy and industrial clients across Canada. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute H2Safety’s long-term training strategy Own revenue, gross margin, pricing, and department budget Deliver courses and facilitate client exercises regularly Lead instructor qualification, scheduling, utilization, and performance Report training service-line KPIs and quality improvements Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, education, business, or related field 10+ years emergency management experience 5+ years leading training programs and managing staff Qualified to instruct ICS Canada curriculum courses Exercise design and evaluation experience Bring strategic planning, ICS instruction, exercise facilitation, and financial leadership to H2Safety’s growing training service line.
