This administrative assistant supports the Purchasing team and its communication with construction sites, vendors, accounts payable, and Construction Management. The work includes preparing purchasing agreements, purchase orders, RFPs, reports, correspondence, and logs. Key Responsibilities:
- Type, distribute, electronically file, and log purchasing agreements
- Prepare and modify correspondence, reports, processes, drafts, and logs
- Record information and generate reports using databases and spreadsheets
- Prepare purchase orders or RFPs for purchasing activities
- Monitor inbound shipments and communicate with site receivers
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of administrative experience
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
- Organizational skills and confidence using electronic systems
- Purchasing department knowledge or experience is an asset
