Support independent living through personal care and daily communication as a full-time Intervenor serving Sensity clients in Windsor, Ontario.
Sensity's Intervenor supports people living with dual sensory impairment in their homes and communities. You will help individuals participate in daily living, pursue goals, and communicate information. Rotating days, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends are included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower participation across daily living activities
- Assist with individual goals and objectives
- Provide personal care as required
- Assist with program development
- Support individuals indoors and outdoors
Requirements:
- College preparation in Intervenor or related human services
- Developmental disability support experience
- Mental health condition support experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds occasionally
