Lead hands-on human resources services at SeedMaster in Emerald Park, using recruitment and employee relations expertise across office and manufacturing teams. Reporting to the CEO, this Manager oversees daily HR delivery and supervises the HR Coordinator and office administration staff. The work includes hiring, employee relations, performance management, staff development, and reliable office support. You will provide practical advice to managers, maintain consistent practices, and prepare HR information for the CEO, Board, and HR Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, assessment, offers, onboarding, and probation reviews
- Advise managers on attendance, conflict, discipline, and performance matters
- Coordinate investigations, leave, accommodation, and return-to-work processes
- Maintain performance cycles, employee records, policies, and HR systems
- Supervise HR and office administration staff and monitor budgets
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Five or more years of progressive human resources experience
- Experience supervising staff and coaching managers
- Working knowledge of Saskatchewan employment and human rights requirements
- Strong communication, organization, discretion, and HR systems proficiency
- Bring sound judgment, confidentiality, and practical HR leadership to SeedMaster's Emerald Park workplace and manufacturing operations.
