Securitas Canada Limited seeks full-time and part-time Tactical Security Guards for Edmonton-area assignments. You will observe activities, control access, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents. The position requires communication, reporting, and approved use-of-force techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and report incidents, activities, and safety concerns
- Respond to disturbances and remove unauthorized individuals safely
- Apply approved restraints, takedowns, and handcuffing procedures
- De-escalate conflict through verbal communication techniques
- Prepare accurate incident reports and preserve evidence
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Security Services License
- Current PPCT, CTSS, or equivalent Use of Force certification
- Tactical Communications, Verbal Judo, or de-escalation training
- Previous security experience; tactical experience preferred
- Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills
