This Healthcare Security Guard role requires a valid BC Security Guard License and Advanced Security Training certification. You will patrol healthcare facilities, monitor surveillance systems, respond to emergencies, and document incidents. The position also involves de-escalation, communication, and coordination with healthcare staff and emergency responders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor entry points and verify credentials for authorized access
- Patrol interior and exterior facility areas regularly
- Respond to medical emergencies, disturbances, and safety hazards
- Use de-escalation techniques during volatile situations
- Complete incident reports and notify appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- Valid BC Security Guard License and AST certification
- One or more years of security experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills for incident documentation
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and various shifts
