This full-time position involves collaborating with a dynamic team of therapists in the Stroke Unit & CCU. You'll be responsible for executing treatment plans under the guidance of Registered Occupational and Physiotherapists. Your role will require strong communication and organizational skills as you address clients' diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with therapy plans under supervision
- Perform treatments including gait and balance training
- Conduct safe exercise classes for individuals and groups
- Prepare equipment and maintain treatment areas
- Communicate regularly about patient progress
Requirements:
- OTA/PTA Diploma from an accredited program
- At least 1 year inpatient experience preferred
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and gait aids
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current BLS certification required
