Flex Academy teachers educate students within a flexible educational model and support their academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth with a focus on individualized education. Flex Academy is a JK-12 brick-and-mortar school located in Kelowna, BC. In this Christ-focused, campus-based program, we are combining the best of classroom experience with the versatility of online tools to develop a hybrid model of education.
The Position:
- Grade 1 1.0 FTE position at 40 hours per week for the 2026/27 school year.
As Foundations Teacher, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Deliver quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of students (including use of digital curriculum).
- Plan, teach, assess and report in applicable subject areas, while maintaining good classroom management.
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary.
- Plan field trips and participate in school and staff meetings, and parents’ meetings.
- Maintain daily communication with students, families and staff.
- Actively participate as a member of the staff team.

What we offer:
- 1.0 FTE Competitive salary ($48,876 – $88,818) annually based upon 1.0 FTE and depending on years of experience and education level.
