Global tax reporting and quality control are central to this Assistant Manager role with Scotiabank's Global Banking & Markets team in Toronto.
This Assistant Manager supports FATCA, CRS, and QI annual reporting for Capital Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking, and related GBM businesses. You will gather data, perform quality control, compile submissions, and meet production schedules and regulatory deadlines. The role also supports management reporting and local process oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather data for FATCA, CRS, and QI report submissions
- Perform quality control and compile regulatory reporting information
- Ensure submissions are timely, complete, and accurate
- Oversee locally conducted onboarding and data management processes
- Maintain annual reporting KPI data for management review
Requirements:
- Knowledge of US and Canadian tax laws
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting and audits
- Knowledge of FATCA Chapter 4 and IGA regimes
- Ability to communicate requirements across business lines
- Familiarity with Broadridge and Fenergo systems is an asset
