Teach Grade 1/2 French Immersion at École Christine Morrison Elementary with bilingual French and English communication skills. This temporary 0.8 FTE assignment follows a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule.
The Mission Public School District seeks a Classroom Teacher for primary students. The assignment requires recent successful teaching experience at the Primary and/or Intermediate levels, plus French communication proficiency. Instruction is provided as required through June 30, 2027, or until the incumbent fully or partially returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom instruction as required
- Teach Grade 1/2 French Immersion students
- Communicate with students in French and English
- Communicate with parents in French and English
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education and/or PDP
- Recent successful Primary or Intermediate teaching experience
- Minimum B2 DELF French communication skills
- Successful completion of the district French qualifications exam
- Bilingual written and oral French and English communication
