Schlegel Villages seeks Registered Practical Nurses for temporary full-time, permanent part-time, or part-time unscheduled hours. This on-site position supports residents through safe treatments, accurate documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Schedules include days, nights, or specified part-time shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Follow care plans and report resident changes
- Update care plans with physicians and village leadership
- Advocate for resident participation in care decisions
- Support transfers, move-ins, and changing medical needs
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Existing Heart Save Level CPR certification
- Proficient communication and computer skills
- Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check and tuberculosis screening
- Understanding of retirement and long-term care regulations
