Serve Windsor residents through food services leadership, nutritional oversight, and enhanced dining experiences at The Village at St. Clair. This is an onsite, full-time temporary assignment.
Schlegel Villages is hiring a Food Services Manager until March 2027. The position supports resident-centered hospitality while leading the food services department and its large unionized team. Responsibilities include food purchasing, financial planning, diet requirements, regular assessments, catering, department schedules, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality hospitality services to residents
- Lead food services operations with hands-on coaching
- Plan and support Village catering functions
- Create enhanced dining experiences for residents
- Complete nutritional assessments and manage department administration
Requirements:
- Proven large-quantity food preparation experience
- Food purchasing and financial planning experience
- Leadership experience within a unionized food services team
- Familiarity with Ontario long-term care requirements
- Active C.S.N.M. membership and required screening clearance
