Deliver accurate medication administration as a Registered Practical Nurse at University Gates in Waterloo, Ontario. This is a part-time, on-site nursing opportunity.
The Village at University Gates seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for long-term care. You will follow resident care plans, report changes, and update documentation. The position requires current Ontario registration, Heart Save Level CPR, communication, and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Follow care plans and report resident well-being changes
- Collaborate with physicians during weekly rounds
- Update care plans in the current system
- Advocate for resident participation in care decisions
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Existing Heart Save Level CPR certification
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage stress
- Understanding of long-term care legislation and regulations
- Proficient communication and computer skills
