This operator sets up equipment, washes components, inspects completed work, and records production data. The position includes troubleshooting process issues and maintaining required standards. Operators may train colleagues, support other departments, and set up processes when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate bearing assembly equipment
- Operate radial play, flushness, and contact angle units
- Use riveting equipment and staking presses
- Inspect work with precision measuring equipment
- Record data in routers, IMS, and tracking systems
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma
- Ability to read and interpret production prints
- Adequate computer skills for production procedures
- Ability to meet training matrix skill requirements
- Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and ITAR compliance
