Ledcor is recruiting a pipeline scheduler at Edmonton, requisition R30953, to develop, maintain and control the programmes for large linear pipeline projects in TILOS and Primavera P6 from early planning through to completion. The posting is specific about what a pipeline programme has to show.
Time location charts are built to illustrate spread movement, production rates, work fronts, crew flow and geographic constraint, and construction logic and sequencing are settled with project and construction managers, superintendents, engineers, field leadership and project controls. Engineering, procurement, access, environmental, construction, testing, commissioning and restoration activities are integrated into one programme rather than tracked apart.
Field progress is tracked and fed back into both tools to reflect quantities, productivity, constraint and forecast completion. The scheduler identifies critical path activities, programme risk, crew conflict, access limitation and potential delay, and recommends mitigation and recovery.
The time location plan is kept aligned with the P6 master programme on logic, milestones, progress and forecast, and look ahead programmes, production curves, progress reports and schedule narratives are produced. Baselines are maintained and the effect of scope change, weather, access restriction, environmental windows and field delay is evaluated against them, which is the record a later claim would rest on.
Work is self performed, so the advert offers visibility of construction logic and field progress across the spreads. The post is full time. No salary and no closing date are published.
