This temporary, full-time Pharmacy Technician contract lasts 12 months at SHN's Centenary Site. You will perform technical and clerical functions in assigned areas, including inpatient and oncology pharmacy. The work supports dispensing, preparation, inventory, and quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform unit-dose or traditional medication dispensing
- Enter medication orders and refill medication carts
- Replenish ward stock and manage pharmacy inventory
- Prepare sterile, non-hazardous, and hazardous drugs
- Complete workload measurement and continuous quality improvement
Requirements:
- CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Diploma
- Ontario College of Pharmacists registration or eligibility
- At least one year of related experience
- One year of sterile, compounding, and hazardous preparation experience
- Excellent communication, performance, and attendance records
