Lead SaskTel’s five-year financial planning in Regina, using strategic analysis and strong financial leadership to guide business decisions. This permanent full-time position is on-site. Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance leads financial planning and departmental relationships. The position develops SaskTel Telco’s plan, supports Holdco planning, and works with departments on budgeting and forecasting. It also oversees regulatory reporting, controls, and capital planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Financial Planning and Departmental Relationship team
- Provide strategic financial information to executives and directors
- Develop five-year financial plans, budgets, controls, and procedures
- Analyze monthly variances and communicate financial performance results
- Coordinate CRTC filings, submissions, and regulatory financial inputs
Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Designation, CPA
- Strong financial background in a managerial environment
- Several years’ corporate accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience with capital and operating budget processes
- Knowledge of telecommunications and SaskTel
- Bring CPA expertise, financial planning leadership, regulatory knowledge, and negotiation skills to SaskTel’s Regina finance team.
