This Specialist provides subject matter expertise within Sask Power's management team.
You will develop sourcing and category strategies, lead competitive procurements, negotiate agreements, and manage supplier relationships.
The work supports inventory, maintenance, repair and operating materials across operational and project delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing and category strategies using demand, spend, and supplier data
- Lead proposals, quotations, tenders, evaluations, and commercial negotiations
- Develop, negotiate, and administer material supply contracts
- Manage contract amendments, renewals, pricing, risks, and performance
- Coordinate supplier performance and issue resolution with internal partners
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, commerce, or related equivalent
- Five years of related procurement and strategic sourcing experience
- Experience negotiating complex goods or material supply agreements
- Knowledge of category management and procurement risk management
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or comparable systems
