The Operations Technician installs, operates, maintains, and repairs gas system facilities and associated equipment. You will troubleshoot odorant and cathodic protection systems, support distribution work, and make sound decisions during emergencies. Customer service includes appliance activation, meter work, leak repairs, and resolving inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, operate, and repair gas system facilities
- Locate, inspect, install, and maintain gas distribution systems
- Monitor odorant and cathodic protection systems
- Build, install, and remove meters and regulators
- Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and emergency situations
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Journeyperson Plumbing Certificate
- General or domestic gas fitter's license
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Three years' natural gas industry experience
