This is to fill two (2) positions @11 hours each Residential Building Science Fundamentals November 2 - 20, 2026. The following course will be delivered online through a combination of self-directed learning and scheduled virtual drop-in sessions via Zoom with the instructor. The instructor will be responsible for facilitating these sessions, providing learner support, and guiding students through course content as required. This is an online delivery course. You may be considered to facilitate group & customized training as required.
Job Duties:
- Check links and content prior to the start of the course
- Update resources as needed
- Communicate with students regularly
- Mark assignments
- Monitor student progress
- Provide timely and constructive feedback
- Manage and review exam submissions as required
- Finalize official grades
Required Qualifications:
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in the Carpentry
- Two years' recent/relevant post-journeyperson experience as a Carpenter
- Effective instructional ability
- Effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Effective interpersonal skills
