Lead child protection services in Weyburn or Estevan as an Assistant Supervisor, using coaching and Family Centered Case Management.
This permanent Assistant Supervisor role supports Child and Family Programs. You will supervise, manage, and implement protective, preventative, and support services for children, parents, and foster families. The position uses the Family Centered Case Management Model and P.R.I.D.E. Model of Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor, and train staff as an expert role model
- Encourage employee success through respectful, empowering leadership
- Guide staff during supervisor absences concerning child placements
- Support caregivers with children in care
- Coordinate service delivery with programs and partner agencies
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Ministry policies and procedures
- Knowledge of the Child and Family Services Act
- Knowledge of Family/Children's Services and PRIDE Manuals
- Ability to liaise with First Nations CFS and community agencies
- Ability to represent units, regions, or ministries on committees
