Lead architectural permitting for Northland Properties Corporation in Vancouver, coordinating project development, construction documentation, and approvals for hospitality projects. This senior position supports hotel and restaurant renovations and new construction across Northland Properties' diverse pipeline. You will coordinate municipalities, consultants, contractors, and internal teams while applying AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office. The work includes design development, permitting documentation, and construction support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage land acquisition, development permit, and building permit documentation
- Coordinate approvals, regulations, codes, zoning, and municipal responses
- Lead front-end hotel design development and permit releases
- Review shop drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction documentation
- Track RFIs and support contractors throughout project delivery
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of relevant architectural experience
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent
- Strong AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Municipal permitting and consultant coordination experience
- Knowledge of Canada and British Columbia Building Codes
