We are currently looking for an experienced, Vancouver-based Treasury and P2P Manager to join our crew!
The Treasury & P2P Manager will lead treasury operations and the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process across multiple entities, own the consolidated cash-flow forecast, oversee payment execution and approvals, and provide functional leadership to the P2P team. This is a Vancouver-based hybrid position that requires regular in-office work.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller and the Director of FP&A, this role also leads P2P-related month-end close activities, including AP cutoff, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting support; applies relevant U.S. GAAP to vendor and P2P transactions; and ensures established approval requirements and financial controls are consistently followed. The position supports annual budgeting and forecasting, liquidity planning, audits, continuous process improvement, and team training. Success requires strong organization and prioritization, a sound understanding of payment controls and fraud risk, and the ability to coordinate effectively across Finance, FP&A, Legal, business teams, vendors, and banking partners.
Treasury and Cash Management
- Own and prepare the weekly consolidated cash-flow forecast for review by the Director of FP&A, coordinating and validating inputs from local and regional finance teams and maintaining documented assumptions and variance explanations.
- Monitor daily and weekly cash positions and significant vendor payments over a rolling 90-day horizon, maintaining a current schedule of contractual obligations, identifying liquidity risks and funding needs, and recommending payment-timing or funding actions.
- Coordinate intercompany cash transfers and other treasury transactions, and serve as primary backup for lender, covenant-compliance, debt and financing reporting.
- Manage bank account changes, KYC requirements and banking relationships, maintain controls over bank information, user access and payment instructions, and drive improvements in cash visibility, bank connectivity and forecast accuracy.
Procure-to-Pay Operations
- Own the full procure-to-pay process, from vendor setup and invoice intake through payment, settlement, reconciliation and issue resolution, including the AP inbox, coding, purchase-order matching and vendor master data.
- Provide day-to-day functional leadership to the P2P team, including mentoring and oversight of the P2P Accounting Technician, work review, training, performance feedback and escalation support.
- Prepare payment proposals and payment runs for approval by authorized signatories, and ensure independent verification of new or changed vendor banking details before use.
- Review AP aging, disputed items, failed or returned payments and vendor inquiries, investigating root causes and coordinating timely resolution with internal stakeholders, vendors and banking partners.
Month-End and Financial Reporting Support
- Lead P2P-related month-end activities, including AP cutoff, accruals, journal entries, payment clearing, AP subledger-to-GL reconciliation and resolution of reconciling items.
- Review key vendor contracts, purchase orders, milestones and service periods, including capital projects and government contracts, to identify unbilled obligations and ensure transactions are recorded in the correct entity, account and period.
- Apply relevant U.S. GAAP to P2P transactions, including capital versus expense classification, construction-in-progress and fixed assets, related-party transactions and, where applicable, contract costs under ASC 606 and ASC 340-40; prepare supporting analyses and memoranda and elevate judgmental matters.
- Prepare schedules, working papers and variance explanations for month-end, quarterly and annual reporting, audits and disclosures.
- Provide budget and forecast inputs to FP&A for contractual commitments, capital expenditures, recurring vendor costs and payment timing, reconciled to cash-flow assumptions.
Process Improvement and Stakeholder Partnership
- Maintain and improve treasury and P2P procedures, controls, process narratives and policy documentation, identifying the root causes of recurring issues and control gaps and implementing sustainable fixes.
- Support NetSuite, Tipalti, banking and cash forecasting system initiatives, and use AI tools to improve productivity, accuracy and automation.
- Build effective working relationships across Finance, FP&A, Legal, business teams, vendors, banks and other external partners.
Your Past Missions

- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP applicable to P2P-related transactions.
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment, including translating significant vendor contract terms into accounting, payment and forecasting requirements.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, payment fraud risks, segregation of duties and audit-ready documentation.
- Experience with NetSuite and Tipalti or similar platforms, advanced Excel, and AI tools such as MS Copilot or ChatGPT for Business.
