The Salvation Army seeks a Support Services Worker to provide client-focused assistance within established policies and procedures. You will answer inquiries, provide guidance and internal referrals, monitor safety systems, and respond to facility needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients, residents, community members, and staff professionally
- Provide information, guidance, and internal referrals
- Monitor computerized security and camera systems
- Conduct building rounds and physical safety checks
- Prepare occurrence reports, logs, data entry, and statistics
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Current First Aid and CPR training
- Understanding of addiction, mental health, and homelessness
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and complete screening
