Lead administrative support services at Saint Mary's University with scheduling, delegation, budgeting, and workload coordination expertise. This is a full-time contract assignment.
Reporting to the Dean of the Sobey School of Business, the Supervisor manages administrative support across the Faculty. The position coordinates staff duties, supports Chairpersons and Program Coordinators, and maintains efficient service delivery. It also oversees budgets, timetabling, examinations, and safety committee administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate duties among Administrative Assistants across the Faculty
- Monitor workloads and reassign work when required
- Manage administrative budgets, equipment, supplies, and furniture
- Coordinate course timetabling and teaching load oversight
- Support safety committee meetings, documentation, and minutes
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma or university credential and five-plus years' experience
- Experience training, supervising, scheduling, and delegating staff
- Experience budgeting, tracking expenditures, and managing resources
- Strong organizational, multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, and EMS bookings
