Shape SafetyCoLabs’ learning vision through instructional design leadership, hybrid work, and travel across Ontario approximately twice monthly. As Lead Instructional Designer, you will establish philosophy, standards, frameworks, and quality benchmarks for SafetyCoLabs learning. You will define learner experience standards, instructional voice, interaction patterns, and assessment strategies. This fixed-term contract ends July 27, 2027, with possible extension. Key Responsibilities:
Establish instructional design philosophy, standards, templates, and playbooks Define learner experiences, interactions, assessments, and quality benchmarks Mentor instructional designers and conduct design reviews Partner with Graphic Design and subject matter experts Design curricula, storyboards, assessments, and learning programs Requirements:
Seven-plus years of instructional design experience Experience leading instructional design teams or serving as senior lead Knowledge of adult learning theory and Learning Experience design Experience with eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, and blended formats Experience with LMS platforms and modern authoring tools Bring strategic leadership, creative direction, and hands-on instructional design expertise to SafetyCoLabs’ growing learning portfolio.
