Our public sector client is seeking an Intermediate Business System Analyst to support a budget exercise using Excel to ensure sensitive information is appropriately identified and redacted where required. Candidates must be located in Calgary and will be in-office in downtown Calgary.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with experience in reviewing financial or transaction-level datasets
- Experience with Excel and financial data review and redaction activities aligned to privacy and disclosure requirements
- Quality assurance validation of redacted financial and budget information
Nice to Have:
- Experience reviewing vendor records and financial system fields for disclosure purposes
- Experience supporting time-sensitive disclosure initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Review large volumes of budget, financial, and transaction-level data for disclosure purposes
- Identify and redact personal information in accordance with disclosure guidelines
- Apply defined redaction criteria across multiple datasets
- Conduct quality assurance checks to validate the accuracy and completeness of redactions
- Maintain the integrity and usability of underlying financial information during reviews
- Document findings, issues, and exceptions throughout the review process
- Collaborate with project team members and subject matter experts to resolve disclosure-related questions
