As Shift Supervisor, you will lead an assigned operation or area while promoting safe, efficient work aligned with customer service specifications. You will provide employee orientation, information, technology, and materials. The position also supports continuous improvement, accountability, diversity and inclusion, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workers and activities across assigned logistics operations
- Plan processes with the Logistics Manager and customer
- Provide orientation and operational resources to employees
- Address performance concerns through corrective action
- Promote cooperation and improve internal processes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Zero to one year direct leadership experience required
- One year transportation, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred
- Results orientation and effective motivational skills required
- Organization, multitasking, and time management skills required
