Support warehouse operations as a Material Handler I with Ryder in London, Ontario, using accurate picking, packing, and forklift skills. This is full time, permanent afternoon work.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions across loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. The position supports accurate product handling, warehouse documentation, and automated packing systems. Candidates should bring dependable attendance, careful follow up, and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
- Pick, pack, audit, stage, and induct products
- Complete picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Support automated packing system maintenance during production hours
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid certified Forklift Operator's License
- Ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 pounds
- Availability for afternoon shifts and mandatory Saturdays
