Ryder is hiring an AZ Cross Border Truck Driver in London, ON, operating tractor-trailer combinations between London and Pharr or Los Indios, Texas. The position includes no-touch drop-and-hook freight, one dispatch weekly, and driving within Canada and the United States. Drivers complete delivery documentation, inspect equipment, oversee loading and unloading, and use material-handling equipment when required. The role requires commercial driving experience, English communication, map-reading, and safe operation in all weather.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations across Canada and the United States
- Complete logbooks, inspection reports, distance records, and customer paperwork
- Oversee equipment condition and freight loading or unloading
- Unload freight using material-handling equipment when required
- Follow the dedicated London-to-Texas route
Requirements:
- Valid AZ or Class 1 licence with air-brake endorsement
- Valid FAST Card
- Minimum nine months verifiable commercial driving experience
- No more than one recent moving violation or accident
- Advanced English, map-reading, and GPS skills
