As a full-time, permanent Crossborder Driver, you will transport freight across the Canadian and United States border. The work includes operating tractor-trailer combination units, completing delivery documentation, and managing vehicle and freight functions. You will work under the Logistics Supervisor while serving customer, supplier, and company locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate single or tandem axle tractor-trailer units
- Pick up and deliver freight across Canada and the United States
- Complete log books, inspection reports, and customer paperwork
- Oversee equipment condition and freight loading or unloading
- Unload freight using material handling equipment when required
Requirements:
- Valid AZ or Class 1 licence with air brake endorsement
- Valid FAST Card for cross-border transportation
- Minimum nine months verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to drive in all weather conditions
- English communication, map reading, and GPS skills
