We are looking for a committed individual to fill the Entry Level Welder role in Winnipeg South. This job will start with day shifts before transitioning to a rotating schedule based on production requirements. You will work in a safety-sensitive environment, requiring a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings for product accuracy
- Weld and tack various metal grades and thicknesses
- Use welding equipment and hand tools efficiently
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely
- Assist with metal cutting, forming, and machining tasks
Requirements:
- Experience as a Fitter-Welder preferred
- Proficient in GMAW, SMAW, FCAW/MCAW, and/or GTAW processes
- Trade-tested or certified in Welding and Fabrication
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Strong commitment to safety procedures
