The Justice Technology Services Digital Design Branch seeks a senior technical specialist for Criminal Justice Digital Design modernization. You will support Oracle to Azure SQL migration, database administration, performance tuning, and data pipelines. The assignment covers Criminal eIntake, Digital Information Repository, and ICON Integration workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data structures, quality, relationships, and migration requirements
- Map and transform legacy data for Azure SQL Database
- Extract, cleanse, validate, and reconcile migrated data
- Execute delta-load migration plans with minimal disruption
- Document scripts, rules, configurations, and technical artifacts
Requirements:
- Five-plus years with RDBMS, Azure SQL, and database administration
- Five-plus years performing ETL development and data movement
- Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, SSMA, and migration services
- Knowledge of T-SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, data workflows, and Synapse workspaces
