As an Actuarial Services Consulting Associate, you will perform core actuarial functions while supporting client consulting and practice growth. Your work includes statutory liability valuations, financial statement reviews, SQL analytics, and actuarial model governance. You will also contribute to forecasts, business cases, market research, and new business support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review financial and accounting statements
- Conduct statutory actuarial liability valuations
- Gather client data and run stochastic models
- Perform SQL, MS-Access, and analytics tasks
- Support forecasts, presentations, and market research
Requirements:
- University degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or similar
- Actively working toward FSA or FCAS designation
- Actuarial consulting or insurance company experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of AXIS, SQL, Visual Basic, or R considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
