Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre's Medical Imaging program provides complex imaging across multiple modalities. This regular part-time MRT(R) position involves CT, General Radiography, and minor special procedures. The successful candidate delivers diagnostic examinations according to hospital and professional standards, adapts procedures during emergencies, and prioritizes requests for prompt patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete General Radiography and CT examinations
- Apply imaging protocols and relevant procedures
- Adapt standard procedures during emergency situations
- Assess requests and prioritize patient care
- Maintain effective interdisciplinary working relationships
Requirements:
- Recognized accredited Radiography program graduation
- Good-standing registration with CMRITO
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment cooperatively
