The position involves equipment inspection, repairs, adjustments, parts replacement, updates, and pre-season inspections. Technicians document work orders and notes electronically while following occupational health and safety standards. Training, tuition reimbursement, and tool allowances support progress toward journeyperson papers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions
- Repair, adjust, and replace defective equipment parts
- Perform updates and pre-season delivery inspections
- Complete work orders and enter technician notes electronically
- Follow occupational health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Second- to fourth-year heavy equipment technician apprenticeship
- Experience with CASE or other heavy construction equipment
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Fluent English language skills
- Problem-solving skills; similar experience is an asset
